SARASOTA (SNN-TV) – Booker High School senior and 3-star receiver, Josiah Booker, announced his collegiate commitment this morning. The Tornadoes top target chose Central Michigan University over Jacksonville State, Florida A&M, Wofford and Toledo.

Booker anchored Scottie Littles’ offense all season long, appearing in all 14 games and finishing the season with nearly 1,600 all-purpose yards and 11 total touchdowns. Booker’s efforts helped the Tornadoes to a Class 2S state semifinal berth, before falling to Cocoa.

Josiah joins former Booker star Jacques Bristol in Mount Pleasant, where Bristol is a senior. This is the second splash the Chippewas have made in Sarasota County, as Venice QB Jadyn Glasser committed back in June.
