SARASOTA – For the third installment of our Encompass Health Student Athlete of the Week we head to Sarasota High School.

In 2018, Keandre Collins was one of the top kickoff return man in the country.  Collins averaged more than 30 yards a return and took three to the house.  668 total yards amassed his junior season, with three house calls mixed in there as well.

Heading into this season, Collins, and the rest of the sailors are hungrier than ever, and it is all thanks to the brotherhood the team formed in the summer time.

“It built it a lot because every day Monday through Thursday we worked in the weight room 7 through 10, Keandre Collins said. After an hour and a half of working out we will come out and do sprints. It builds chemistry because it is a lot of time spent together.”
