SARASOTA, Fla. (SNN TV) – The Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall announced its 2023-2024 lineup.
Among the events is Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter, who will be in town Friday, October 20. This comes after performing at Tampa’s Amalie Arena and MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre last year.
Captin Kirk himself, William Shatner, will be at the Van Wezel Saturday, November 11. He’ll follow up a screening of 1982’s “The Wrath of Khan,” popular among Star Trek fans as one of the best, if not the best, Star Trek film. He’ll share behind the scenes stories of his career and answer audience questions.
Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons follows up the week after, November 18. He’ll perform some of his greatest hits, such as “Walk Like a Man” and “Sherry.”
“Wheel of Fortune LIVE!” brings the game show to Sarasota on Sunday, December 17. Guests can audition to go on stage.
The Ringling College Library Association Town Hall lineup will close with Misty Copeland. She’s the first Black woman to be promoted to principal dancer at American Ballet Theatre. She was also named one of Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People.
