SARASOTA – UPDATE* The Humane Society of Sarasota County has successfully cleared its shelter.

Coronavirus is keeping many Suncoast residents home and with budgets tight. To help animals find their forever homes, The Humane Society of Sarasota County waived all adoption fees on animals.

All adoptable animals came spayed, neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines.

Thursday, SNN reported on the adoption and fostering process, amid COVID-19 in the Suncoast. Today, the Humane Society of Sarasota County has successfully cleared its shelter.

Remember that when you adopt a shelter pet, you are saving two lives, your new furry friend’s, and the new adoptable pet who is taking its place.
