SARASOTA – A multi-vehicle crash Friday night send several people to the hospital.
Sarasota Fire Department responded to the crash on Worrington St. and U.S. 41 just after 8 p.m. Spokeswoman for the fire department reports two vehicles were involved in the crash. Three people had to be extricated from a vehicle that flipped on its side.
Two people were transported as a trauma alert to Sarasota Memorial Hospital. We’ll provide new updates as soon as they become available.
