SARASOTA – The Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida hosting its 12th annual Gingerbread Festival and it ends Sunday. 

This year’s festival will be on display at the former Stein Mart location in the West District at University Town Center, (next to Old Navy).

The location change this year allows for a larger presentation space so that the event can safely be held and guests can adhere to social distancing guidelines. 

Last year, they welcomed more than 16,000 people to experience the creativity of more than 150 houses, and this year there’s even more,

“The people’s choice award voting is a dollar a vote and all of the proceeds from that go directly towards girls scouts of gulf coast Florida and the ten counties we serve and providing girls with the girl scouts leadership experience,” said Communications and Marketing Associate of Girl Scouts of Gulf Coast Florida, Anneliese Cassalia. 

Voting ends Sunday at noon.
