LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. (SNN TV) – A Lakewood Ranch veterinary center inches closer to expansion.
Halfacre Construction Company recently broke ground on a two-story addition for the Veterinary Medical Center at Lakewood Ranch. In a press release, PR firm One Eight Oh wrote that the 12,000 square foot addition to the existing clinic will allow the office to meet the demand for emergency and specialty services.
Lab equipment includes multiple in-house blood machines, ultrasound machines, digital and dental x-ray devices, three intensive care oxygen units, and a high flow oxygen unit. The new facility will include a hyperbaric oxygen therapy and CT scanner, 13 more exam rooms, two treatment areas, an animal blood bank, and others.
Veterinary Medical Center at Lakewood Ranch is on Lorraine Road and State Road 70 at 15205 Garnet Trail. Halfacre expects the project to be completed in the winter of 2023.
