BRADENTON- The South Florida Museum is growing. The new mosaic Backyard Universe will offer children the opportunity to explore everything from the growth of tadpoles to frogs, all the way up to the solar system. The six million dollar expansion allows children to experience a new learning environment every time they visit the backyard.

“Next time the com back the may be interested in the frogs, the baby gators or the planets or the time machine,” said museum COO, Jeff Rodgers. “Every time you come back there’s a different way for you to explore the backyard universe and connect that with the world outside.”

The project is expected to be finished this summer.
