SARASOTA (WSNN) – Shots break out in Sarasota, Saturday morning.
The Sarasota police department is investigating a shooting that happened around 11 am near N Orange Avenue and 36th Street. No one was hurt.
SPD says it believes this is an ongoing dispute between several people.
This is a photo of the firearm that was used in the shooting. Johnnie Evans of Sarasota is facing charges of Aggravated Assault & Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
SPD says the public is not in any danger.
