The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office says the shooting was reported just before 3 in the afternoon, after two individuals arrived at Sarasota Memorial Hospital with gunshot wounds.
Officials say they believe an altercation happened along the 2100 Block of 32nd Street, which led to a shooting.
The status of both individuals is unknown at this time however, detectives also believe it’s an isolated incident. No one is in custody at this time.
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating.
