SARASOTA – The Sarasota Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at a McDonald’s Wednesday afternoon.
Spokesman for Sarasota Police Lt. Robert Armstrong says the robbery happened around 2:30 p.m. at the McDonald’s on 3511 Fruitville Road near Beneva Road.
Lt. Armstrong says a male fled from the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. Investigators say they have a picture of the alleged suspect and are currently looking for him.
