SARASOTA – The Sarasota Police Department’s annual ‘Pack the Patrol car’ is back.

Before students head back to class, Sarasota Police are asking for your help collecting school supplies for the Boys and Girls club of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties.

The police department will accept new school supplies for all ages and grade levels at their headquarters.

“Whether that be markers, crayons, pens, pencils, notebook paper, folders, boxes of Kleenex, sandwich bags that can close, anything along those lines that you think kids might need to go back to school,” Sarasota Police Department PIO, Genevieve Judge.

The school supply drive runs through August 4th, and you can drop off supplies anytime from 6 AM to 7 PM at 2099 Adams Lane, Sarasota.
