SARASOTA (SNN TV) – The Sarasota Orchestra announces it’s purchased 32 acres on Fruitville road to build a new music center.
The orchestra says in a Facebook post that this is part of a “transformative vision” nearly 10 years in the making.
The center will be located at 5701 Fruitville Road.
The orchestra writes on their website that the arts and cultural community is growing along with the area, and demand for performance, rehearsal, and educational space is greater than their current supply.
They also write that the concert hall will be purpose-built for acoustic music.
