SARASOTA- A Sarasota man is arrested Monday on child porn charges.
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office tells SNN in November, detectives received a tip that a short video depicting child pornography was uploaded to Facebook.
Detectives were able to identify Michael Newton through the IP address used to upload the video.
Today, Newton faces a single count of possession of Child Pornography.
He remains in custody without bond.
