SARASOTA – The Sarasota Department of Health is reporting notifications for 800 appointments for first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been sent out.

The notifications were said to be sent out around 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Doh employees say once appointment notifications go out, individuals who receive them have two hours to confirm or decline their appointment.

The appointments will be for a vaccine clinic to be held on Tuesday, Jan. 26th at the Florida Department of Health building in Sarasota County, located on 2200 Ringling Boulevard.
