SARASOTA – Starting Monday Sarasota beaches are now open to the public but with some restrictions.
Sarasota County commissioners voted to open nearly all beaches in the county with Lido Beach remaining closed. Beach goers will not be allowed to layout to soak up some sun or other group activities. But rather use the beach to walk, run, fish, and swim.
However, beach parking lots will still remain closed.
