LAKELAND (SNN-TV) – After a 0-4 start to their season, the Saint Stephen’s completed a season turnaround like no other yesterday in Lakeland when they defeated Legacy Charter, 47-7 to win the SSAC 5A Championship.

Leading 40-7 at the half, AJ Brown’s Falcons were dominant in all facets. The Falcons won five straight to end their season, with their final victory of the year putting them above .500 at 6-5. Running back Evan Brown led the way for the Falcons, much like he has all season, as he had 17 carries for 110 yards t, giving him 1,317 for the season. QB Luke Donley also threw for 4 TD’s on the day.

The championship was the third for Saint Stephen’s in the SSAC and the first for Coach Brown.
