SARASOTA – Calling all runners and walkers! There’s a fun opportunity for you and your spouse Saturday, Feb. 15. The Bazaar on Apricot & Lime is hosting a 5K Fun Run and Walk, followed by a vow renewal with a judge. If you’re single and want to run, you can join someone else’s wedding party, or if your spouse doesn’t feel like running, they can meet you after for the ceremony and reception.
“We’ll have a beautiful ceremony in our courtyard area here at the Bazaar,” Bazaar on Apricot & Lime Co-Founder Kim Livengood said. “You can renew your vows and stay after for some beer, mimosas from JDub’s, some treats from Petals & Sugar, and all sorts of fun wedding inspired activities.”
Prizes will be awarded for the best wedding attire, biggest wedding party and longest married couple. You must sign up by Feb. 10 to get your T-shirt for the run, which starts at 9 a.m., followed by the ceremony at 10 a.m. You can register here.
