SARASOTA (SNN-TV) – Riverview High School boasts some of the top football talent in the state, with players like Charles Lester III, drawing major collegiate interest. But today, their senior tight end announced his commitment.
The 6’5 Luke Petitta announced his commitment to Holy Cross on his Twitter today, as he’s headed to Worcester, Massachusetts to play for the Crusaders. Petitta joins the back-to-back Patriot League champions after a breakout offseason.
Petitta, the backup of former Riverview-turned-Penn tight end Mike Fraraccio, received offers from both Holy Cross and Bryant just last month. After missing much of last season with a hip injury, the 245lb tight end looks to help Riverview exceed 2021’s 9-4 record.
