PARIS, FRANCE (SNN-TV) – Rafael Nadal is now a 14-time French Open men’s champion.

The 36-year-old from Spain faced off against 23-year-old Casper Ruud of Norway, making Nadal the oldest title winner in the tournament’s history.

It was the first time Nadal and Ruud played each other in an official match.

The tennis veteran stormed to 6-3, 6-3, 6-0 victory, nabbing his 22nd Grand Slam title overall.
