MANATEE – Pirates fans invaded downtown Bradenton Saturday night.
To welcome the team back for another year of spring training. Fans got to enjoy food, music, and even meet some of the players. Fans say it was a great way for families to come out and get excited for the start of the season.
“What I’m looking forward to is getting into the ballpark, and being able to have a hotdog or a brat or a beer, and enjoy baseball. But I’m also looking forward to the start of the season, for me life begins on opening day,” said Bob Kominski.
Spring Training Opening Day for the Pirates is next week.
