HOUSTON, TX (SNN-TV) – This fall’s World Series is set, the Philadelphia Phillies will take on the Houston Astros after both clinched their League Championship series titles last night.

Phillies star Bryce Harper provided an electric moment in the bottom of the eighth with his team trailing the San Diego Padres by a run. With a man on base, Harper cranked this two-run blast to the seats in left to give his team a 4-3 lead. Philadelphia would close out the Padres in the top of the ninth to win the National League Championship Series 4 games to 1.

They will now face Houston in the Fall Classic after the Astros dominated the New York Yankees in the American League Championship Series. The Astros beat the Bronx Bombers 6-5 last night to complete the four game sweep in the ALCS. For the Astros, this is their fourth trip to the World Series in the last six seasons. The World Series begins this Friday in Houston.
