GLENDALE, AZ (SNN-TV) – Kansas City Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been named the NFL’s Most Valuable Player for a second time.

Mahomes received the honor last night for his performance during the 2022 season. He also won the award for the 2018-2019 season, making him the tenth player in NFL history to win the award multiple times.

The 28-year-old signal caller will play for a second-career Super Bowl title on Sunday, when the Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII. It makes the third time in five seasons that Mahomes has helped take the Chiefs to the Super Bowl.
