PALMETTO, Fla. (SNN TV) – “Go west, young man,” said Horace Greeley.

In this case he might’ve said, “Go Wester, young man!”

Wide receiver LaJohntay Wester is taking Greeley’s advice and manifesting his destiny at the University of Colorado.

Wester, is #1 in this video, he played QB and wide receiver at Palmetto High School for Head Coach Dave Marino.

According to the Herald Tribune, Wester, the former Tigers standout will transfer from Florida Atlantic University to the University of Colorado where he will play in “Prime Time.”

The Colorado Head Coach is Deion “Prime Time” Sanders, who coached another former Suncoast star wide receiver at Jackson State, Malachi Wideman, now in the XFL.

Wester has been one of the top receivers in the country the past three seasons for the FAU Owls where he ranks first in career receiving yards (2,703), pass receptions (252), and touchdown catches (21), according to Dennis Maffezzoli
