SARASOTA – Sarasota Police responded to a call of an overturned vehicle at the intersection of Links Ave and Fruitville Road.
The crash happened just after noon on Sunday. Officials say the driver of the car ran a red light and T-boned another car.
Eastbound lanes were temporarily shut down while officers investigated the scene.
The driver of the crash was transported to Sarasota Memorial Hospital with minor injuries reported.
