SARASOTA (SNN-TV) – Following the final week of their regular season, teams in the Sunshine State Athletic Conference now know their fate in terms of their playoff match-ups, including the undefeated Thunder of Out-of-Door Academy.
Following their 37-21 road victory over Bradenton Christian, the now 8-0 Thunder led by first-year HC Rob Hollway, will host their SSAC Playoff game this Friday against St. Edward’s as the #1 in their region of the 5A.
This Friday the Thunder will meet the 3-4 Pirates of St. Edward’s out of Vero Beach in the first round, with kickoff set for 6pm from Thunder Stadium. Two other SSAC team on the Suncoast also find themselves vying for a championship as well.
Saint Stephen’s will host Santa Fe Catholic Thursday at 6pm in their Quarterfinal, while Bradenton Christian hits the road on Friday at 7pm to face Gateway Charter.
