VENICE, Fla. (SNN TV) – The “No Swim” advisory at Venice Beach is lifted.

The City of Venice says in a press release that the Florida Department of Health in Sarasota County lifted the advisory that was issued on Thursday. This was due to elevated enterococcus bacteria levels.

However, a beach water resample taken Friday came back with satisfactory results.
