SAN FRANCISCO. CA (SNN-TV) – One Bay Area team heads out west to another Bay Area in Week 14 for a clash of two division leaders jockeying for position in the NFC, as the Bucs try to snap the 49ers’ five-game winning streak.

The 8-4 49ers are trying to hold off the Seahawks and currently have a one-game lead in the NFC West, where the 6-6 Buccaneers are trying to get some additional breathing room in the NFC South while the 5-8 Falcons are on their bye.

If the Bucs can leave the Bay area with a win on Sunday, they will have pulled within a game of the 49ers in the conference race and will have a reasonable chance of catching San Fran for the third seed.

The Buccaneers have won three of their last four, and the Niners have ripped off five wins in a row, with an average margin of victory of 16 points, including an impressive win last week over Miami.

The standout match-up this week will be unsurprisingly at the QB spot, with the GOAT taking on Mr. Irrelevant Brock Purdy, starting for the injured Jimmy Garoppolo.

Kickoff from Levi’s Stadium on Sunday is set for 4:25pm.
