CHARLOTTE COUNTY (SNN TV) – A new county ordinance means big changes if you’re parking by the Charlotte County boat ramps.

This comes from the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office and Charlotte County Government. You are no longer allowed to park on the grass surrounding the boat ramps. The Sheriff’s Office also says not to park in trailer spots and stay in designated parking areas.

You’ll get a $40 fine for parking in a trailer spot and a $118 fine for parking on the grass.

The Sheriff’s Office says the regulations help ensure fairness for everybody.
