DOWNTOWN SARASOTA (SNN TV) – A 16-year-old downtown Sarasota restaurant is sold.

Melange and Pangea Alchemy Lab owner and chef Lan Bradeen sold her restaurant. The restaurant’s located at 1568 Main Street and is known for its hip, cozy interior. The Herald-Tribune’s dining editor particularly loves the rabbit tacos, beef short ribs, and shredded duck crepes with brie and brandy cream sauce.

Jeremy Duclut bought the locations. He’s from Burgundy, France and is owner/partner of Wooden Rooster and the Dirty Shirley in St. Pete. He says he bought the locations because Sarasota is “the best foodie town in Florida.”

Duclut won the first episode of season three on Food Network’s “Chopped.” He was also once the executive chef of Saint Pete’s Cassis, an American and French brasserie and bakery in St. Pete.
