MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. (SNN TV) – Manatee County Sheriff’s Office detectives are investigating a homicide that took place outside a night club Sunday morning.

At around 2:30 a.m., deputies responded to 5107 14th Street West and found a 33-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot of the Gold Rush Arcade, an area used for overflow parking for Touch of Class Night Club.

Deputies secured the scene and applied a tourniquet to the victim’s leg before EMS transported him to Blake Hospital.

The 33-year-old later died from his injuries. His identity is being withheld at this time.

Deputies recovered evidence from the scene and are following several leads.

No one has been arrested, and the investigation is ongoing.
