MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. (SNN TV) – A 52-year-old Bradenton man is dead after a two-vehicle and motorcycle crash in Manatee County.
This happened Wednesday. Florida Highway Patrol troopers said the man was on a motorcycle traveling west on Cortez on the left lane and approaching the intersection of 115th Street West. Another man in a pickup truck with a trailer was traveling east on Cortez approaching the same intersection.
A 22-year-old Englewood woman was driving her SUV south on 115th Street West and went to turn left on Cortez as the pickup approached the intersection. The SUV collided with the pickup truck. After the collision, the SUV was then sent into the path of the motorcycle. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
