WSNN-TV – Golf great Tiger Woods reportedly turned down an offer worth up to $800M to join LIV Golf.
In an interview airing on Fox News yesterday, LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman confirmed that Woods was offered seven to $800M to join the series. But he would have had to lose membership in the PGA to do so.
The controversial Saudi-backed tour has convinced some big names from the golfing world to leave the established PGA Tour to participate for huge dollars, including Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson and most recently Bubba Watson.
