TORONTO, CAN (SNN-TV) – The First Round Blues vs. the Three-peat. That’s the match-up beginning tonight in Toronto when the Maple Leafs host the Lightning in game one of their first round playoff series.

Perhaps the most intriguing aspect of this series is that the Tampa Bay Lightning, the two-time defending Stanley Cup Champions, will be underdogs when the puck drops later tonight.

The biggest question going for the Lightning concerns their ability to shut down the Leafs top line of Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner, and Michael Bunting.

Playing inconsistent as of late, the Lightning will play one of their tougher matchups in the first round in recent memory.

Puck drops tonight from the Scotiabank Arena at 7:30pm.
