MANATEE COUNTY – A pull-behind light tower is accidentally pushed into longboat pass.
The town of Longboat Key is warning Suncoast boaters to avoid an area about 500 feet south of the bridge-tender west of the bridge after the light tower fell.
Buoys surrounding its location are placed where it fell.
