BRADENTON – Laura Licoski, founder of Home is Where the Heart is, has been organizing the event for the past three years. Licoski says the event is meant to empower women and make them feel as beautiful on the inside as the outside.

Ashlee Adams is a graduate of His Girls Discipleship says she’s never been pampered and treated like a queen.

“It is so amazing, I never thought in 32 years that this day would ever come,” said Adams. “It feels so – like it’s a privilege that we get to do something like this, and it’s awesome that the community comes together to do things like this for is ladies.”

The women had the options of getting their hair, make up and nails done before selecting a new outfit and posing for the camera to show off their new looks.
