SUNCOAST, Fla. (SNN TV) – Most Suncoast residents will see changes to their trash collection this week due to Hurricane Idalia. Here are the changes we know about:

MANATEE COUNTY

Manatee County recylcing and yard waste are canceled this week. Tuesday trash pickup is delayed to Thursday. Thursday’s trash pickup is delayed to Friday, and Friday is delayed to Saturday.

CITY OF BRADENTON

Bradenton’s garbage collection is suspended toda due to the closure of the Manatee County landfill. Tuesday’s trash collection will be on Thursday, Thursday’s service will be on Friday. Friday’s service will happen on Saturday, if necessary, according to the City.

SARASOTA COUNTY

Sarasota County trash pickup is delayed by one day. Tuesday pickup is happening today, Wednesday pickup is happening Thursday, Thursday pickup is happening Friday, and Friday pickup is Saturday.

CITY OF SARASOTA

Regular trash collection will resume on Thursday in the City of Sarasota. Tuesday’s pickup will happen instead on Saturday.

CITY OF VENICE

The City of Venice’s trash collection is delayed by three days. If your trash pickup was supposed to happen Tuesday, it will instead happen on Friday. Wednesday’s will happen on Saturday. However, Thursday’s pickup remains the same.

CITY OF NORTH PORT

The City of North Port has resumed trash and recycling pickups, and collections are delayed by one day this week. Solid Waste crews are continuing to run the Tuesday route today, Aug. 30, for trash, recycling and yard waste. Wednesday’s collections will take place Thursday.

The city of North Port says in a press release that crews will continue to run today and tomorrow to pick up any missed homes. Customers are asked to call the Department of Public Works at (941)-240-8050 with any questions.

CHARLOTTE COUNTY

Residential curbside collection of garbage, recyclables, and yard trimmings will resume on Thursday, Aug. 31. Collection will be one day later with Wednesday customers serviced on Thursday. Thursday customers will be serviced on Friday, and Friday customers serviced on Saturday.
