(WSNN)- Governor DeSantis wants Facebook to be investigated for violating of election laws.
The Governor ordered Secretary of State, Laurel M. Lee and the Divisions of Elections to investigate Facebook for election violations based on reporting by the Wall Street Journal.
The Governor says the reports revealed the “Whitelist effectively created two classes of speakers on Facebook’s platform: those who are privileged and those who are not.”
Revealing an “egregious double standard” in how the social media company disciplines users.
In the statement DeSantis said Floridians deserve to have faith that their elections are fair and free from intrusion by “Big tech monopolies like Facebook.”
