SUNCOAST – Gas prices drop again on the Suncoast.

You may remember prices going up last week after reports that Saudi Arabia could lower fuel output in an effort to raise prices.

Now they’ve come down 9 cents, from $3.59 to $3.50 since last week according to AAA. That is in line with Florida’s average, which is $3.53 as of Sunday. Charlotte County has the cheapest gas in the region, averaging $3.44 a gallon.

Despite demand going up slightly in the past week, demand is still significantly lower than this time last year.
