LOS ANGELES (SNN-TV) – Shield your ears and eyes Braves fan, as Freddie Freeman has agreed to terms with the Los Angeles Dodgers on a six-year, $162 million deal.

The 32-year old Freeman reached free agency for the first time in his career after helping the Atlanta Braves win their first World Series since 1995.

The Braves, of course went on to acquire and extend 1B Matt Olson, moving on from the former NL MVP.

The Braves begin the defense of their World Series tomorrow at CoolToday Park against the Minnesota Twins at 1:05pm.
