(WSNN)- Florida Power and Light Company is sending a team of more than 750 employees and contractors to assist with restoration after Hurricane Ida passes.

The workers, who began their journey Sunday morning, will travel to Louisiana to help wherever they are needed.

Hurricane Ida made its landfall today, which also marks the 16th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina’s landfall in Louisiana.
