TALLAHASSEE (SNN-TV) – Former UCF Quarterback, McKenzie Milton, entered Sunday night’s game between Florida State and Notre Dame for the first time since a gruesome injury he suffered in 2018.

Milton entered the game after FSU starting quarterback Jordan Travis had to exit midway through the fourth quarter, when his helmet came off during play

Milton’s first pass was a 22-yard completion to Ja’Khi Douglas. The drive would end with a touchdown as the Seminoles attempted a late rally against the (7) Fighting Irish. Milton was not expected to be able to play again after the injury he took against South Florida on November 23rd, 2018. He nearly lost his leg in the aftermath of the hit.

Florida State would go on to lose Sunday’s game to Notre Dame, 41-38.
