SARASOTA, Fla. (SNN) –The state’s Disaster Prep Tax Holiday lasts until September 8.

The Florida Division of Emergency Management shared an image of what is included in the holiday.

Many items have a price cap. For example, you can buy cat litter that weighs up to 25 pounds tax-free for $25 or less. Other items included in the holiday are manual can openers, pet pads, cat litter pans, pet waste bags, leashes and collars, paper items such as toilet paper and paper towels, soap, sunscreen, and fire extinguishers.

You can also get portable generators tax-free that cost $3,000 or less. The holiday began on Saturday, Aug. 26.
