FLORIDA – We’re still breaking records in Florida, as state health officials report more than 15,000 new cases. Shattering the previous single-day high.
As of Sunday there are a total of 269, 811 cases in Florida. 45 new deaths are now being reported bringing the states total to 4,242.
Manatee County & Sarasota County both saw huge spikes in cases. Sarasota reported 465 new cases now bringing the total for the county to 3,106 and 250 hospitalizations.
In Manatee nearly 500 new cases have been reported. The county now has 5,112 and 356 hospitalizations. Charlotte County reports 43 new cases with the total now increasing to 1,117 and 169 hospitalizations.
