The Sunshine State is ranked the 42nd safest state in the country, according to WalletHub.
The ranking is based on vaccinations, positive tests, hospitalizations, death, and transmission rates.
Florida has the worst hospitalization rate in the country ranking 51.
The state is 48th in the highest positive testing and death rate.
The top five safest states include Vermont, Maine, Connecticut, New Mexico, and Washington.
