DESOTO COUNTY – The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash in DeSoto County. FHP Lieutenant Greg Bueno says the crash happened just after ten Saturday night on County Road 760.
53–year–old Barbara Porro died in the crash after reports say she approached a curve near South East Sanders Road and drove her car off the roadway before crashing into a tree.
Her passenger 35–year–old Tyrone Session was transported to Lee Memorial with minor injuries. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
