SARASOTA – The fire broke out just after seven on Friday on the 1700 block of Oak Lakes Drive. Sarasota County Fire Department worked to contain the fire that spread quickly to the roof and back of the home.
According to Battalion Chief Travis Dagenais, he confirms no injuries and everyone inside the home made it out safely including the families pet. No word on what started the fire that is still under investigation.
