SARASOTA – The Florida Highway Patrol is reporting they’re investigating a possible hit and run crash.
State Trooper Kenn Watson tells SNN the crash happened shortly after 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Constitution Boulevard and Swift Road Friday night.
Trooper Watson says they’re working on getting a description of the car as the driver could possibly face serious charges.
The driver of the moped was transported to Sarasota Memorial as a trauma alert with life threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
