SARASOTA – Sarasota County Fire Department responded to a structure fire just after 6 p.m. on the corner of Novus St and Tuttle Ave. One southbound lane was closed while crews investigated the fire.
Sarasota County Fire Spokesman Drew Winchester tells SNN a portion of a fence in the back of the house caught on fire but was quickly put out. No word on what caused the blaze.
There are no reports of injuries.
