(WSNN) – If you’re in the “extremely vulnerable” category, Florida has a form for you to receive your COVID-19 vaccine.
This one-page form allows your doctor to certify you as a person of high risk for developing complications from COVID-19.
It becomes effective, Wednesday.
The change comes as the state has expanded on who can deem someone under 65 medically vulnerable.
Monday, Gov. Ron DeSantis created new rules to allow health care workers to vaccinate people deemed medically vulnerable by a physician.
This was in addition to adding law enforcement officers, teachers, and firefighters over 50 to the list of those who qualify for the vaccine.
